The Overhaul Project of S2 Steam Generator at Zarand Power Plant Located in Kerman Province and Zarand City is Ongoing by Mabnatouss Co. Now, after 2 Months Since the Start of the Overhaul Project of the Steam Generator of Zarand Thermal Power Plant (including a Single Cylinder, 12-Stage Turbine Unit, made by Escher Wyss, Germany, has Two Journal Bearings and One Thrust Bearing, and a Generator Made by Jeumont Company Schneider France and an Exciter with a Dynamic Excitation System, with a Journal Bearing) this Project is Ready for Delivery and Operation with Nearly 90% Progress. the Project is Expected to be Completed by the end of January this Year. this Power Plant was Built as the First Thermal Power Plant in the Southeast of the Country in the Beginning of 1974 in the Description of Zarand. this Power Plant Consists of Two 30 MW Steam Units that Use Mazut Fuel (Furnace Oil) as the Main Fuel. the Boilers of the Power Plant are also Manufactured by Mann Germany and are of the Water Tube Drum Type with Natural Circulation and Operate with a Capacity of 135 Tons Per Hour. the Practical Power of the Power Plant will Reach 52 MW in Winter and 50 MW in Summer. the Project is Expected to be Completed by the End of January.
